No matter where you are in New Zealand, we can deliver our handcrafted hot tubs to you. Be it in the middle of the city or in the backcountry, we have you sorted.  

All Heartwood Cedar’s spas are made by hand and crafted from end to end to guarantee a true #spalife experience. This is why we work to order, meaning that once you have transferred your deposit, it’s go-time for us.

Once we are close to finishing your hot tub, we will get in touch to coordinate a delivery date.

We are a Christchurch-based company, but as we deliver spas all across NZ, our shipping logistics vary depending on region and location.

How Ordering Works

  • Once you've contacted us via email or phone, we'll have a conversation about your specific hot tub package, which will cover any site-related concerns, special delivery requirements, and plumbing needs.

  • We will issue a deposit invoice and will begin construction upon receipt of this payment.

  • Even though we aim to build our spas as quickly as possible, we would never compromise on quality, meaning that - depending on the orders in our pipeline - it could take up to 3 months for us to finish your tub. 

  • Once the deposit is paid, your build slot will be confirmed. If your circumstances change, let us know as soon as possible.

  • The tub will be delivered once the final payment has been received.

Installation

It's important to ensure that your site is fully prepared before your tub arrives because moving it multiple times increases the risk of damage. So whenever possible, make every effort to have your site ready before delivery.

Our Shipping Terms

You agree to pay delivery costs. If we deliver in instalments, each delivery counts as a separate contract under these terms.

Once the goods leave our premises, you are responsible for insurance and risk.

Your right to possess the goods start upon delivering them to your premises - or once they are collected by you.


In the case that you ask us to deliver your spa to another person, that person takes possession of the goods for you, and you are still directly responsible to us on these terms.

You must report any claims for shortages or damages that occurred during delivery to both us and the carrier within five business days from the delivery date. In the case of non-delivery, within two business days of the due date for delivery.

We commit to our best efforts to deliver goods or perform services promptly. Please note that we will not be held liable for any loss or damage resulting from delays in delivery or performance.

Heartwood Cedar Returns

By using our services, you recognize and accept that we are the only party authorised to accept returns. Returns will only be accepted according to our returns policy, which will be communicated to you through our website or in writing. Please note that written consent from us is required for any goods returned in order to receive credit.

However, nothing in these terms of trade or in the returns policy will limit or affect any rights that a non-business customer may have under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993.
